HSBC announces some additional services to NRB customers


HSBC is delighted to offer, under the Bangladesh International (BI) umbrella, a personalised and customised service to our Non Resident Bangladeshi (NRB) customers.


We already have a dedicated Bangladesh International team whose role is to cater to the different needs of each individual NRB. In our efforts to provide you with the best possible service, we have recently reviewed and enhanced the range of services offered to our most valuable NRB customers. Our objective is to provide you with greater linkages, through HSBC, with your home country, whether you are overseas or visiting Bangladesh.


With effect from 15 January 2007 our NRB customers will, subject to certain qualification criteria, have the opportunity to receive the Silver, Gold or Platinum Bangladesh International (BI) package, each with a range of associated benefits.


As a valued Platinum, Gold or Silver Bangladesh International Customer, it would be our pleasure to offer you with access to the following services*.

The costs of the services are, except where stated, for your own account (e.g. any legal advice that you choose to seek following HSBC's referral will be at your own cost). Whilst HSBC has made every effort to carefully scrutinise the quality of the legal advisers, property developers, hotels etc., we cannot take any legal responsibility for the delivery of their services. Where the Bank arranges to despatch gifts on behalf of a customer it does so at the customer's own risk. Qualification for Silver, Gold or Platinum status is evaluated at the end of every quarter (31 March, 30 June, 30 September and 31 December) based on the average foreign currency balances that you maintain with us for the preceding 6-month period:

Depositors that maintain an average balance in excess of USD60,000 or equivalent will, in addition to the Platinum package, qualify for the full range of services offered to any of our domestic Premier customers.
